Department Description:
Technical Architect Organization is one of the important organizations in Motorola Solutions Inc that provide pre-sales technical support to the Strategic Sales and Channels Sales team in the company. We play a key role in architecting solution for the customer, and are a trusted advisor to the customer. A highly respected role in the company.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations:
1. Assist in coordination of technical sales activities related to perspective accounts.

2. Transfer industry, technical, and product knowledge to customers and partners.

3. Learn relevant solution sets, architectures and full product line specifications.

4. Keep up-to-date on relevant competitive solutions, products and services.

5. Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory.

6. Participate in technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects.

7. Assist in the development of formal sales proposals.

8. Set-up and operate equipment for customer demonstrations and evaluations.

9. Execute on established plans to prevent post sales issues that shorten time to revenue.
Desired Skills & Experience

Specific Knowledge/Skills:
1. In training process to acquire baseline TA skills, specifically Mobile Computing, Advanced Data Capture, Mobility Software applications (including tools and OS’s), wired and wireless networking technologies (includes routing and routed protocols and all RF WLAN technologies)

2. Preliminary knowledge in one of the following areas of specialization: Mobile Computing, Advanced Data Capture, Mobility Software applications (including tools and OS’s), wired and wireless networking technologies (includes routing and routed protocols and all RF WLAN technologies).

3. Some experience with Network, ADC, MC, and RF theory, design or architecture.

4. Some experience in Network Management, Security, Planning, and Implementation.

5. Ability to install applications on Windows Mobile, Windows CE, Android etc..operating systems and effectively diagnose systems (and above) level issues.

6. Understanding of SNMP, Mobile device Management ARCHITECTURE,

7. Understands Enterprise/SMB, Service Provider and/or equivalent business model.

8. Some experience with project management and resource tracking.

9. Preliminary knowledge of software and/or hardware, testing and implementation.

1. Good written and verbal communication skills, good listening and presentation skills in Mandarin and English.

2. Ability to work effectively and add value as a team member.

3. Demonstrate basic troubleshooting skills.

4. Must be able to coordinate across various groups and functional teams.

5. Ability to perform tasks with moderate supervision.

6. Demonstrate ability to implement, drive and track projects

7. Ability to apply solutions, technology and products to a business opportunity.

8. Candidate with CWNA, CCNA, CCNP or related certification will be advantageous.
