Position :       Fiber Designer Engineer x 20

Location:       Philippines

Duration:       3 months (extendable)

Service Description

· To perform tasks with other staff within the project and ensure work is completed and complies with the specifications of the contract.

· Provide Detailed Design and Auto CAD works for the FTTH OSP Project.

Scope of Work

Main tasks of Design Engineer are:

· Prepare OSP Fundamental plans, engineering detailed plans, Single Line

· Diagrams (SLD), and other related design drawings.

· Detailed Design includes but not limited to designing a Lay Plan (civil works, duct route and manholes), Haul Plan (Cable Pulling Plan), Fiber Optic Grid

· Plan.

· Populate Engineering design data into Excel format.

· Preparation of engineering work load estimates.

· Digitizing of As-built Fiber Network plan.

Design Engineer Qualification

· Graduate of BS in Engineering & Telecommunications course.

· Solid background and working experience in Outside Plant planning and engineering, both in backhaul and FTTx.

· A minimum of four (4) years telecommunication experience in Outside Plant engineering.

· A minimum of four(4) years experience in Auto Cad Operation (version 2000 above )

· Basic understanding of outside plant implementation.

· Adequate knowledge in application of IS/IT tools used for project.

· Well versed in Google Earth and Excel.
