The biggest telecommunication conglomerate based in Muscat, Oman is currently looking for Back Office RNC/Node B Engineer for 1 year rolling contract.

Job Description:

• Responsible for a variety of activities, specialized on large-scale related to the RNC, MSN, LCP, uMGW Node-B and enode Bs.
• This includes but is not limited to Node B rehomes(re-parenting), RNC rehomes, IuR ov IP IP creation and migration, IuXX link profile changes and other projects related to the RAN.
• Engineers perform remote data translations in varying types of equipment and technologies (3G and 4G) to support our wireless infrastructure.
• In many cases the position requires the engineers to create and document methods and procedures, work within larger project teams, and create and test configuration scripts prior to implementation.
• The engineers must also attend project calls and perform off hours work.
• The engineers are SME’s as it relates to MSC’s, RNC, Node B and eNode B translations.
• This position will focus on the Alcatel Lucent 3G and 4G RAN and MSC technology.
• IP background, uMGW, and LCP experience preferred.

Skill:
· RNC data translations provisioning
· multi vendor experience on RNC, MSC, uMGW
· WIPs , WMS, WICL background
· IuCS, IuPS, IuR, IuB data translations
· Engineers with hands on experience in a live network
· understand 3G Network Elements
· IP Networking

We are offering an all inclusive rate of $4,500 USD per month for this role , our client will also pay for a full working visa if one is needed,
