Huawei Office on Switzerland Raided
Bern - Huawei danger of losing sizable telecom equipment orders in Switzerland. Swisscom, the main telecommunications provider in the country, warned Huawei will remove from the list of suppliers, if the Chinese company is found to have violated local law.

Cellular-news reported on Wednesday (05/08/2013), Huawei office in Switzerland visited by the police last week. Nine raids require employees secured.

Police claimed, forced Huawei employee was arrested for violating immigration rules. Allegedly, some of the staff with visas for tourist visits, using it to work in Switzerland.

"If the allegation is proved, we will no longer use the Huawei as a supplier. We are now looking for alternative replacement Huawei," said CEO Swisscomm, Carsten Schloter.

He mentioned, is related to trust and they must ensure suppliers comply with Swiss law. Huawei itself has been believed to be suppliers for the division Swisscomm landline service.
