Front Office RAN/Transmission (Shift) Engineer required for work in Reading on a long rolling contract working for a major telecommunications company.

1st Point of contact for all RAN or Transmission related problems. Monitor network and transmission availability, ensuring all SLA 's and KPI's are met. Take ownership of network faults and planned/unplanned service interruptions, managing them through to resolution or escalating where required.

The ideal candidate must have the following experience:
Knowledge of 2G/3G Radio Access Networks, 2 years 1st Line 2G/3G experienceExperienced with fault finding process and management platforms Experience with one of the following Vendor's RAN equipment; 3G Nokia Siemens Networks/or Ericsson 2G Proven operational experience in transmission in one or more of the following areas - MW, PDH, SDH, ATM or IP.
