Network Project Manager / LAN / WAN / MAN / Stratford upon Avon – 3 – 6 Months

I am currently on the lookout for a Project Manager or Junior Project Manager with Networks experience to work for my reputable client in the Warwickshire area.

This is a 3 to 6 month contract to provide support to the overall Project Manager with direct responsibility for the management and control of elements of the Network Work-stream.

Role Profile

The PM/JPM will need to manage all or part delivery of:-

Network (WAN, LAN, MAN, IPT, CC, PBS, Video and Voice Lines)

Carry out Project and Programme Management activities in a proper way to ensure that:

• The project status is reported clearly and appropriately
• Proper plans are developed and maintained showing key deliverables and dependencies clearly
• All RAID items are identified, properly recorded, managed and escalated appropriately.
• Change is managed properly and to the agreed process and tolerances
• Project finances are properly managed and reported (Baseline, Forecast, Actuals)
• The programme Quality standards are adhered to and that all completed deliverables conform to the agreed acceptance criteria

Person Specification

• Experience of Managing and Delivering Networks and Client Builds.
• An excellent understanding of PM processes and their application (PRINCE2, PMP)
• Experience of similar deployments/working with external vendors
• Ability to understand technical solutions and issues
• Good communication skills
• Good facilitation skills
• Good understanding of technology governance requirements within a multi-vendor outsource environment
